Colour me Cockcrane

Haha ironically like Ed, I too have been experimenting with colour. This is the first page of Cockcrane coloured, it's interesting as it gives a new perspective but I'm going to carry on exploring for more effective and hopefully quicker ways to colour.

Experimentation

I've been messing around on photoshop with some of my pencil drawings trying to add some colour!!! These two images are my 1st attempt at it and to be honest I don't think they're working very well - in terms of both images looking as if they belong together (tone, vibrancy etc).
Im not very computer literat and struggle at the best of times so if anyones got any suggestions for improvement I'm all ears!!!

Blood, Sweat, Tears- Draft

I pushed myself to finish a page in a day, I liked the concept I came up with, but I think I will re-draw it all and look at this version as a draft, but thought I should upload it as part of the exercise?

Still Untitled!

I've changed a couple of frames and made a few alterations here and there.

I think as a whole its working better now and feels more together. Still thinking of ways to improve it and maybe extend to four pages if I can find a way of extending the story!

Untitled

I've been experimenting with different ideas and mediums over the past couple of weeks and really liked the outcome of 'white pencil crayon' on black paper as it creates this sort of surreal and slightly creapy feel to images.

Anyway I came up with the idea of mental decay or schizophrenia (as in being mentally all over the place) for the crash and burn ink soup. I'm not sure whether this is conveyed well in this (short & sweet) story or whether it makes any sense at all but heres what I came up with!
