Enjoying this Ed, reiterating what Chiu said, but also I'd like to see you play with the page layouts abit more- maybe explore a wider range of what panels can do for you in illustration, maybe in a sense to chop and change in pace, I mean you do have that techinique in regards to building story through close ups and still moments, but I think if you could explore ways through your panel use as well that would also help you, especially with such a big undertaking! Haha plus had to be said but I love page 2 in regards to how it does have a creeping similarity to Milan's house he drew from yester year, lol you crazy kids!
if you want to learn from Milan, then learn to do better compositional studies, and visual preparatory studies. You can lead a horse to water, but a few of my third year team really can't be arse'd to drink it! lol!
