A Detective Story - Storyboard

I've started coming up with some short stories whilst looking at storyboard artists such as 'David Allcock'. This is just a 1st experiment to try and improve my prep for my stories before going straight into the final piece - such as thinking about shadow, background etc. Let me know what you think.

wow ed aam loving the whole angels of the pannels and i think you have the ability to tell storys really effectivly from the images compositions. i think the way you have draw shaddows are really effective too especially the smokey streets in the first part. it looks like all those short films have really helped you too. but id have to say that because of the style your are aiming for imperfections like off facial features and slightly lobsided heads are easier to spot.

thanks cherry,

yea i completely agree with the slightly awkward body angels, think thats something I've just got to improve on!

I think you both need to improve on the spelling of angles, unless I'm missing the appearance of angels somewhere? Cherry is being very diplomatic. Me less so - so far it doesn't seem like the summer holiday has done much good for people's drawing ability???

Plus I have no idea what the stories conclusion is??

lol kind as ever chiu!!!

yes it does need some work but its in the very early stage at the moment.

the writing on the note in the final panel is unclear, but its supposed to reveal to the viewer that the girl was going to meet the 'bad' guy in order to save the one hiding from afar.

kindess has nothing to do with raising your critical awarness - if you need breast feeding your out of luck, I'm flat dry

Murray! Focus on drawing and posting your stuff instead of looking for chances to snipe!
