I like both the use of ink washes and line drawing as well his integration of colour (in his other work).
There is the very Scandinavian feel to the work, but interesting that he studied at the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts, and that there doesn't seem to be any specific design/illustration courses - perhaps this is a good thing!

I wasn't sure when I first looked at this, but going on his website and seeing his other comics has converted me, especially the "work for change" one, his composition and panel ideas are peculiar but interesting
