Toastie-O is my new entry for the next ink soup. I'm planning to add colour, but obviously leaving black and white for ink soup. There's 5 pages in this story as I'm directing my comics to general comic submission guidelines (minimum 5 page sequential art). Also a bold move moving from my handwriting to a recognised font, can't make the final decision to whether it works or not? Let me know what ya think! (Dont't be shy, I've handed out a lot of criticism so lay it on me)

I love the storytelling, which makes it difficult to see faults in the drawing - you could find a much more appropriate font though! One that looks more handwritten? I'm sure Debbie will have a suitcase full of them?
Well the good thing is I agreed with your first comment earlier this week with it being too flat, but the contrasts could still be more defined as although I managed to tip-toe around the problem there's the danger of the lines losing themselves if I rely too much on photoshop- so for the next 3 pages I have to integrate more contrast whilst not making it look consistent with the first two pages. But thank you for the compliment, and yea I think the Cooper is good as a title, but will have to look for an appropriate font for the rest.
sorry don't like cooper fro a title either, unless you hand draw cooper?
haha fair enough, I'll give it a go, but otherwise look I'll look at other types-
did you ever see that shreddies advert where it was "keep hunger at bay", haha it's kinda like "keep the chiu at bay" haha
