Competition topic: HERO

Term of participation in the competition:
Number of pages: no more than 3 (one finished story in Russian or in English or without words).
Format: А4 (other formats won’t be accepted for participation).
Deadline for accepting the works: August, 15, 2010.
Requirements for works providing: works are provided in TIF, 300dpi, it is not allowed to use layers, ZIP or RAR archiving are recommended.

The best works will be exhibited on the main ground of the festival in September 2010. Participation in the exhibition is free.

ATTENTION:
Works sended without an application form won’t be accepted for participation.
Festival organizing committee can use fragments of sended works for mass media provision in terms of Festival or contest advertising. Besides, works included in exhibition program will be put up on the festival site, printed in the catalogue and can be used in movable exhibitions in Russia or beyond the borders of the country.

THEME: CHILDHOOD’S MEMORIES
Created in 2005, Dessinateurs de demain (Tomorrow’s artists) is the comix competition of BD-FIL, the international comix Festival in Lausanne (Switzerland). It is dedicated to the promotion of new talent.
The competition is open to anyone over the age of 15 who has not yet been published and carries prize money totalling CHF 4’500.- (€ 3’000.- approx.).
The theme for the 2010 edition is the memories of childhood. Winners will be invited to stay during the Festival (10th – 12th September 2010).
All or a selection of projects entered in the competition (depending on the number of entries received) will be put on show. The deadline for entries is Wednesday 28th July (date of postmark as proof).
